where in the world is javier now? Well i'll tell you, i am in New Jersey at my aunts house or should i say mansion. This house literally is a frickin mansion holy crap its huge, but thats not why i am here right now. I am here to tell you what i did on my first day to New York. Ok so theres not much to say. Im going to see producers saturday so until then i'll be sightseeing and buying a whole bunch of stuff. I already bought a spamalot shirt, a fiddler on the roof shirt, a producers shirt, a fiddler key chain, a small spamalot poster, a book filled with songs that are baritone/bass and that are 16 bars perfect for auditions and the how to... soundtrack. I've been wanting that soundtrack for a while now, but i couldnt find the deluxe original cast recording back home and mother did not let me get it off the internet so i had to wait.
As for the audition book, im not sure when i'll be using it, but when i do ever audition for a musical wherever or whenever that may be, this book will definitely help me. Its got some great songs from How to, Forum, Oklahoma, producers, south pacific and much more(i feel like an infomercial). I know im not gonna see spamalot or fiddler, but i couldnt pass up buying that stuff, if im not seeing the shows i can atleast show my love for them.
On my off time i've been watching the back to the future movies. I love these movies, but after seeing them my head hurts. My mind wont stop thinking about the infinite theories of time travel and how its impossible. Like everytime i see a scene where they do something then the future changes or something i always think well if he did that then he couldnt have done this and then he wouldnt be born or something like that. My head just gets filled with all these questions its just annoying.
I've spent about $200 on this vacation so far which is not good, but the good thing is today is payday so with the help of direct deposit i should get some of what i spent back. I'll probably end spending most of it before i get back home, but oh well i'll just work extra hard when i get back.
I actually got mr.owen something which is weird cuz i havent bought anything for anybody else. I want to, but i dont know what or its too expensive. I got him something for his fridge that only cost me like 2 dollars. So people please know that i wanted to get you all something, but its just not in the cards, i still love you all.
Onix, Staci, and Jenn contacted me today. The only person i called back was Jenn, but dont worry Staci and onix i'll call you all later today.
Well its getting late so i'll be hitting the old dusty trail. Good night.

Hey everyone, i speak to you now from New Mexico. My dad's laptop has a wireless card so i can log on whenever i have time. Let me start off with a couple of days ago. So i get off work and im hanging out in the crows nest, when ted my lead comes in and tells me theres a guest outside who remembered my name and described me who was pissed and he wanted me to go down and talk to the guest. Turns out ted was just screwing with me, it was Naureen. She got off work around the same time i did and she wanted to go to IOA, so i say why not. So we go to wardrobe she gets changed then we head over to IOA. We went with two of her friends from games, but soon after we get there me and Naureen pretty much ditch them. They wanted to go to a water ride, me and Naureen wanted to go to Dueling Dragons. So me and her wandered around the park doing some rides. We only ended up doing spider man and cat in the hat. We wanted to go on hulk but only one set of lockers was working, and the they were full. We waited to see if anybody coming off would take their stuff out of a locker. We waited about 20 minutes, but no luck. We also wanted to do pteradon flyers, but we were too tall plus the line was 75 minutes. We mostly enjoyed our time finding mist fans or air conditioning. After IOA we went back to USF we rode E.T. and Back To The Future. Oh and we played the I Love Lucy trivia game. We wanted to go see Fear Factor, but i got the wrong time. So we thought there was a 9:00 show, but there wasnt. It was Jon Blains last day at Jaws so they froze him on boat for an hour and then on his last show they dumped ice cold water on him. They did it in the boathouse from the catwalks and the at unload after we were clear off guests. Naureen was trying to stay dry all day and she was....until we went on Jaws to see JB's last show. I totaly forgot that if somebody dumps water on the skipper and your in the first row you might get wet. I tried to cover her up, but i didnt do to much of a good job. I felt bad, that she tried to stay dry all day and then we go on jaws and get wet. Sorry again about that. The next day i open at jaws, thats 8:15am. I was supposed to get out at 4, but they needed me to extend till 7. Well seven turned into 8:30, but hey at least i got a positive lead observation. So I chat with Naureen after work and she gets out at 10:30(which is early for her) so i decided to wait. While i waited for her, i rode a couple of shows with one of the new guys, Ty, we screwed around at jaws for a good while, it was fun and we killed sometime. So after the fireworks, i catch up with Naureen and i walk her out. Before i left her at her car i asked he if she wanted to hang out sometime outside of work and she said yes so thats one thing im looking forward to when i get back.
Ok now on to today, i get up at 6:00am today get ready and what not, then head off to the airport with my uncle richie. There was some trouble with my ticket when i got there, but they got it resolved eventually and with enough time for me to pass through security and get some breakfast at BK. I pretty much slept all the way to dallas. I got off at dallas then got on a flight to New Mexico. Slept the whole way too.lol. New Mexico is nice and all, but boring as hell. Everything closes at 5. We drove for like two hours to get somewhere and there was nothing or no one around. Im serious there was just one long road and deserted plains thats it. So anyway we go see some museum about a bank robber from the old west, and then we headed off to Roswell. Roswell as some of you might now is the town famous for the alien crash landing back in the 40s. My thought of the town was that it was gonna be small and full of weird people who are looking for aliens, well i was very wrong. Sure there are some things about aliens, but what i mostly saw was places like, JC Pennys, Target, Sears, and pretty much eveything else we have at home. We ate at Red Lobster then checked in at our Motel. New Mexico is nice and all, but im really just looking forward to New York. Well till next time, whenever that may be. See yall soon.

Ok, so i havent updated in almost a month, but hey here i am. Lets see, work is good, Jaws is still good to me. Sure it can be hectic dealing with tourist, but hey they paid alot of money to get in the park so cut them some slack(right now im being nice to them, but usually im like fuck tourists). Because of the hurricanes coming close to Florida we've had to close alot. Whenever lightning comes within five miles of the park we have to shut down. The longest we've been down on the days i work is like 2 hours. It's kinda boring just doing nothing waiting for the lightning to pass, but hey you get paid for doing nothing so i cant complain there. I've met alot of interesting people at Jaws, all of them are really nice people...its just that some of them have some problems in their lives that amaze me at how it could happen. I have made some good friends there. Some have told me things that i know they wouldnt tell many other people, which im glad about. I've only been there for about a month and i've gained their trust, so i feel good knowing that they trust me with that info and i try to help them as best as i can. Actually i was invited to a party this guy at work was throwing and i really wanted to go, but i had something to take care of. I promised Jenn a long time ago that i would get her cheesecake and i always try my best to keep my promises no matter what so, one day i get out of work early and i head over to a shop in the San Fransisco area in front of earthquake and i buy cheesecake. I stop by Jenns house to give it to her, but she was working so i headed over to quiznos and gave it to her. We talked for a while, and caught up on somethings and then i left. We did talk some more later that day and it was good, i dont want to lose my friendship with her, sure we've been through alot in the past, but time heals all, atleast thats what i believe. I've also made another friend at Universal, her name is Naureen, she works at amity games, shes the coolest indian i've ever met, sure i dont know that many people from india, but hey so what. I usually try to see her before i leave just to say hi. Ok now i must talk about the highlight of my day. So i get up early so me and dad can go to valencia to finish my application paperwork and what not. After that is done we head over to grandmas and i have breakfast over there, stay and talk for about an hour or so then headed off and got some gas and washed the car. We returned some movie he rented then we're off to the mazda dealership. I needed to get a copy of my key, cuz i bought my car used at city kia where my uncle richie worked and they only had one key so i needed to get another one in case i lose the other. So anyway apparently it takes an hour to make the key cuz they need to program it or something whatever i dunno. Well the mall was too far away so dad said hey lets look at the new mazdas and im like sure why not. So we start looking and we're both like oh thats a cool one and oh i like that color, so anyway some sales lady comes up to us and she wants to sells us a car, no way in hell thats happening i just got my car like 4 months ago, but dad was like well lets just look at the numbers so maybe a couple of years from now you can trade in your car for another one. After much talking and debating with my dad and the lady it turns out that my dad gets the thought "hey lets trade in your car now for a brand new one". I was fucking shocked. We go in there with the intentions to just get a new key for my car and i leave with a brand new 2005 Mazda6 with like a whole bunch of features. I wanna get this out of the way, under no circumstance did i ever ask my dad for a new car, I was perfectly happy with the car i had, so i ask him how can we do this. Turns out that going to Valencia didnt cost as much as he thought it would so we had some extra money left over from what he saved up for me over the years, so we traded in my car for more than we bought it for might i add, use some of the left over college money and bam new car. I have to make monthly payments of about $165 for 2 years to fully pay it off, but that wont be a problem since i get paid about 220-240 a week so that wont be tood bad. Im still kind of in shock about the whole thing and how i got a new car just 4 months after i buy a car. Im still in that "wow did that just happen" phase. Anyways my parents leave tomorrow to New Mexico for vacation. I'll be joining them later, cuz i couldnt get off of work till the 24th. So i'll just stay home and go to work till then. After i meet them in New Mexico we head off to New york and i get to see producers, which reminds me Carmen came back from NY and said Producers was good so, i cant wait. I really wanted to see Spamalot, but oh well producers is great too. Onix isnt doing to good right now, so im trying to be there for him as much as i can during this rough time. Me and him hung out today and maybe again tomorrow for a while. I wanna try and hang out with Carl before he goes too. I hope i can. I've been trying to keep in touch with everybody during the summer and i know there are some people i havent talked to yet, but dont worry i havent forgotten about you. I cant wait for high school to start so i can go bug all the seniors.lol. Well im off to bed, i must get up early tomorrow to take my parents to the airport. So i will see yall later.
P.S. I really dont deserve my dad sometimes, i seriosly think he deserves a better son than me, but im his only son so im gonna try my best to make him proud when i go back to school in august. |

Ok lets start with how training went. There were five days of training or atleast there were supposed to be. After my third day i was ready to do land positions by myself so i got took the test early and passed and began workin right away. I was pretty much stuck at greeter, unload, and a little preboard. I still need to get signed off by mimi to do spieling on the boat by myself. We didnt do much the fourth day just walked around a bit, so we went over to her office and she said she could could come the next day, so she came in the morning i did my spiel for her and passed so i pretty much skipped my fifth day of training and went right to work on the boat. Doing the shows on the boat never get old its just that it kills your voice, i could barely talk the next day let alone do more shows, but i used what voice i had left and did my job. I've been bringing movies to work everyday. We have a dvd player in the break room i've been bringing bond, family guy and some other random movies. Its taking me a while, but im finally getting a hang of the whole rotation thing and what load does or pre board. Pretty much everybody there is really cool. Everybody is fucked up in their own special way.lol. im just kidding, but some people there are kinda weird, the rest are nice they're all great people. I used all of my first paycheck to buy my dad his fathers day gift, it was a $90.00 Thor figurine, at IOA. That's his favorite Marvel comic character. Carmen and her family came over that day too. Yesterday i got off work around 6 ish i walked around amity before i left and i saw Naureen at the water shooting game(i forgot what it was called). She was getting out in like half an hour so i waited for her. After she changed at wardrobe we went back in the park and rode a couple of rides. We went on Jaws, Earthquake, Mummy, and Shrek then we left. We talked for a while in the parking lot. She parked all the way in the back of employee parking and i was all the way in the front, oh well. We talked for a while and she showed me her new car, its pretty nice. Tony and David passed by today and they rode my show, i kept smiling the whole time cuz they kept doin stupid crap. I have two days off coming up which feels weird, but hey im gonna enjoy them. Once my next paycheck goes through at the bank im gonna go to EB games and by a game i've had my eye on for a while. Till next time. |

Well im done with my three days of orientation finally. Now i gotta do my five days of training. I already took my two "acting" classes. Creative techniques class and script class, which really reminded me of doing a show for mr.owen, I had to make up a past for my skipper and give him a personality and all that good stuff, it was just like doing a character analysis sheet. Oh well you gotta do what you gotta do, so today i get there, get in uniform and head off to amity. No one was there at first, but some people started to pop up like 10 minutes later, i guess i got there too early. I met some more skippers, and then finally alicia showed up, shes my trainer. Shes a very nice person and funny once you get to know her. So we started off with alot of boring crap about the history of Amity which i kinda knew, but there were some new things. Then we headed off to tower, i finally got to be in the tower, it was pretty cool. Then we headed off around the building and she taught me how to arrange the queue lines when we get full and how to cross over into the other buildings. After all that was done we went to the island. Nobody is allowed on the island except for the lead and the trainers and they both have to have a reason. So this is the only time im ever gonna be allowed on the island so i enjoyed it. we went to the boathouse when no one was there and hung out in the catwalks till a boat came in and watched the show from above it was pretty cool. So after the island we went over the manual, now the thing is i was really bored one night so i read the entire manual so i pretty much knew everything she was telling me, but she said we should still go over it and that was fine, hell im getting paid for it. I believe after that was lunch, i just went to the grill, picked up a patty melt then took it back to jaws and ate it over there in the break room. After lunch we went over the script, and well i got some work to do. She said for my first day of training i did really good, but i wanna be fully memorized for tomorrow. We rode a couple of shows so i could see how other skippers do it, that was ok. The only bad thing was being in the scene with all the fire in 90 degree weather, but i lived. So after all that was said and done she signed me off to do greeter so now atleast i can do that by myself and im pretty sure i can handle it. We finished early and i could have clocked out early, but i decided that i'll stay so we reviewed some of the stuff for tomorrow. After work i just went home and read over the script alot. Alicia said i should have a friend help me so i called somebody i knew who was close by. So Debra came over, i havent seen her in almost a month, but yeah she came over and helped me out and we showed that shark a thing or two.....just dont let that info leak out. Then i talked to Carmen for a while. We met up at Universal a couple days ago and talked things out, so i think we're good(though i have the bad ringtone). I get paid Tomorrow :) my first paycheck woo hoo, i gotta cash it as soon as i get it and go to IOA and buy my dad his fathers day gift, I already know what im getting him. anyway i gotta get up early tomorrow so i'll be headin off to bed. |

Well lets start off with monday. I went to cingular to get a new phone. It's pretty much the same phone i used to have only with a camera on it. I'm so happy that most of the number i needed were on my phone and not on the card, im only missing like two or three that i can get back. After that i went to my first day of orientation. It was fun...in the beggining then we watched safety videos and videos about the history of universal. I got my nametag and ID card, now im official. I can go to universal when want and when i say when i want i mean when i want i could go at 2:00am if i wanted to, the park wont be open but i can hang around the backlot or the grill. I can get employee discounts, comp tickets, oh oh oh and you know those doors that say employees only i can walk through thouse now. I went back on tuesday just to find most of those doors.lol. It was fun. I also went to Jaws to meet some of the people i would be working with, i only talked to a couple and i didnt really get to know them but in due time. I took my water safety class that night. They taught us how to use the shepperds hook and the floating ring, then we swam a lap and thats it. Wednesday i had nothing to do so i went back but this time i got to know more people so far the only people i like know better are Leah and David they're both really cool. Oh and turns out Leah was at the water safety thing and she was the one i hit on the head with the shepperds pole(or hook whatever). I actually got to help, some spanish family came up and leah did not understand a word so i jumped in and helped it felt good. I also learned some of the codes like 10-4,10-8,11-3, and silver and white. Theres alot more but i'll learn them in time. Last night me, tony, pedro, and david went bowling. I havent gone bowling since my cousin Nelsons like 10th birthday. So needless to say i sucked, but i still had fun. I was supposed to go to orientation day 2 today, but i kinda sorta got up too late. It's my fault, i set my alarms but i guess i slept through them. I'll just have to get two more. I reschedueled for tomorrow so at least i wont have to rescheduele day three. As for what im going to do the rest of the day i dunno. I'll work on my lines for a while and read the employee handbook, but thats not gonna take me all day. Maybe i'll stop by Sea World later and bug onix, oh yeah universal employees also get in to Sea World and Busch Gardens for free. Sorry if i sounded like i was braging im just excited to be working at Universal. |

Ok, lets see. Onix got his license finally, we got there at 6:30 and we left like at 10:45 so it wasnt too bad. I went to see The Longest Yard with my dad later that day, i give it a 3.5 out of 5. It was ok, it had its good moments, but i felt the story wasnt well put together. Saturday I went to MGM with Staci, that was fun. I got another one of those autograph picture, the guy who supervised the droid units. I got to watch that Making of episode III thing, it was pretty much a compilation of web documentaries from star wars.com, but it was still cool. We went to see lights, motor, action after that and boy was that an interesting time, first i fuck up my phone so i cant acces anything anymore except for 911, and all the numbers on my sim card are now deleted. I'm getting a new phone tomorrow though so thats good. Then during the show there was an accident two of the black cars hit head on, the road was slippery cuz it was raining all day, so they cancelled the show. We waited like 45 minutes for like 15 minutes of show. We walked around and got pictures of the characters. After mgm michael came over, hes staying all week. It's been an interesting day. We went shopping or he did. He bought a whole bunch of crap at Gap and hollister. After that i exchanged my chappelle's show dvd at Best Buy. I saw Everett at Best Buy, it was nice to see him, its been a while. I got my first day of orientation tomorrow, im excited. Before i go to universal i gotta get my cell phone. I lost alot of numbers and text messages that were on my sim card. Hopefully my important numbers were saved on my phone, there are alot of numbers i cant get back if i lost them. Kristen was talking to michael today and she said i was really really really ridiculously sexy. I didnt know it was her mike was talking to, i realized it like an hour later after she signed off. I havent talked to her since like i was back at cypress. I gotta call her up one of these days. I've been playing michaels PSP alot, im hooked on Ape Escape, im practically beating the game for him, but oh well im having fun, now back to catching them monkeys. |

ah i love it. Little or no sleep. I gotta take onix to the DMV tomorrow so he can get his license. Oh well i'll just sleep extra tomorrow. Anyway today was.....boring. yeah i pretty much didnt do anything till like 8:00. I had to take my mom to some party so after i dropped her off i went to the mall. I wasnt planning on buying anything, but i left with Jaws on dvd, and the Star Wars episode II soundtrack. I gotta take my chappelle's show dvd back to best buy and get it exchanged. The first disc keeps skipping at the Rick James part(the best part). I tried to find sharoll at the mall, but i had no idea what store she worked in, oh well, some other time i guess. I might be going to disney saturday i dont know, we'll see what papa says. Dad comes in like around 12:00 and i probably have to go pick him up. I finally got Laceys s/n, its great talking to lacey, shes all like hey basketball with the revolution and im all like grapes bitches.lol. Yeah good times, good times. I might try out for The Nerd at that s.t.a.g.e place or thing whatever it is. If i do i wanna go for axel again, i wanna have another crack at it, see if i can get it right this time. Alina called me today and told me she wants to see Moulin Rouge in theaters in like two weeks. I do owe her a movie so i have to do it. Ok im gonna try to sleep now, night everybody. |

Today i went to the hospital to see my aunt Isabel. She gave birth to my new baby cousin Joshua. It was fun at the hospital, i chatted, i slept, and i took pictures. Btw if anybody wants to see him i gotta ask my uncle to e-mail me the pics(when i said i took pictures, i didnt mean with my camera.lol). After that i went home and was bored for a couple of hours. I was looking through the numbers on my cell out of boredom and i came across sharoll's number. I havent talked to her in like a year so i decided to call her up. I don't think anybody knows her, but yeah shes cool. I met her in drama 1, Junior year. She graduated that year and we lost contact after that. It was fun talking to her again. She hasnt seen star wars yet, that is blasphemy, oh well. She still works at the mall, i just keep forgeting what store. Anyway after talking to her, Onix called me and invited me to go play SSBM at Marlins house and since i had nothing better to do i did. I kicked ass....once. Hey once is good enough for me, im used to just flat out losing. After that we went to McDonalds and at some nuggets and cheddar burgers. Then talked for a while and dropped onix off at his place. Came home, talked to carmen and onix for a bit. Played some star wars and thats about it. I've been roaming other peoples journals for fun. Thats been entertaining. I got nothing planned tomorrow. Maybe i should memorize my Jaws script. I cant wait to start working, im sure by next month i'll be "fuck work", but until then bring on the sharks. Oh yeah i almost forgot, because my PS2 hasnt worked in like three months i decided to take it apart. The pieces are all stacked on my couch, all you need is a screw driver and maybe a hammer, but thats only if you cant open it up with the screw driver. I hope to get a new PS2 soon, I WANNA PLAY MY GAMES. Well goodnight everybody. |

Well lets give everyone the big update. I graduated! thats the first thing i wanted to say. Senior year was great, and i will miss high school and all my friends. For all the juniors good luck, and take it easy, senior year isnt as bad as you might think it is, hell i passed. Drama banquet was fun....but hell. Yes its my fault, but we pulled it off somehow. I got the award for best supporting actor for roger hopewell in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. I havent been doing much since graduation. Parties, theme parks and sleep. I went in for a job interview today at universal and i got the job! You're looking at the newest skipper it the jaws ride. I have orientation all next week. I cant wait. I went to star wars weekends and Peter Mayhew(chewbacca) and Rob Coleman(animation director for ROTS) signed my booklet fromt he ROTS soundtrack. I might go again next weekend, im not sure. I bought Chappelle's show season 2 on dvd and it is the funniest shit i've seen in a long time. It never gets old. I highly recomend it. Oh one more thing i've seen star wars: Revenge Of The Sith, three times already and i'm hoping to go two more times. |
